Annet Mahendru

Mahendru is the daughter of an Russian mother and a Hindu Indian father in Afghanistan. She is fluent in German Russian and English and is also fluent in French Persian and Hindi. Annet Mahendru was born to an Indian father and a Russian mother. She choreographed her 11 year old show that resulted in an appearance on German TV show appearance as a Russian Snow Maiden who transforms into an energetic Indian Dancer. The girl graduated high school at the age of 11 in New York before earning a bachelor of Arts (English) at St. John's University. After school she took acting classes at the HB studio but the quit to pursue improvisation classes in The Groundlings School taking on several comedy-related projects afterward. Her family was brought up in Kabul Afghanistan by a Hindu/Indian father Ghanshan Mahendru and a Russian-speaking mother Olga. Her parents separated at the age of 13 old and she moved from the city of her birth to East Meadow New York with her father.She stars alongside Matthew Rhys and Keri Russell in FX's The Americans. The Americans' Nina Sergeevna Krilova was the most well-known character. The actress has a regular appearance on Fox's The Following and NBC's The Blacklist.
